Evaluate. Educate. Execute.

When we start working with a client, we go through three distinct steps: evaluate, educate and execute. But that’s just the beginning. Our goal is to create solid partnerships with our clients and to be beside them throughout their life and financial journey. So, in essence, we’ll be constantly repeating these three steps for years to make sure we remain focused and on course.

1Evaluate.

The first step is to evaluate a client’s current financial position, including their holdings, retirement plan, insurance coverage and more to get a comprehensive financial picture. Even more important, however, is to evaluate each client’s personal goals: where they want to be in 10, 20 or 30-plus years. What are their dreams for themselves and their family? What are their concerns, challenges and hopes?

Once we’ve gathered this financial and personal information, we analyze this information and create a customized, detailed plan for each client’s life, lifestyle and long-term goals. This detailed plan will include everything from investments to tax strategies to risk management.

2Educate.

It’s critical to us that our clients understand how we created the plan and how each element of it will work. We don’t just want our clients to take our word for it. We want them to see the logic and the benefits behind each suggestion. Because we believe education and understanding give our clients confidence about their plan, their decisions and their future. This also gives our clients the ability and opportunity to make adjustments or changes to the plan — either before it’s put into place or down the road.

3Execute.

Once we have come to a consensus on the plan, we will put it into action. We open accounts, move assets, purchase policies and draw up documents. We also help our clients set up their financial portal so they’ll always have access to their accounts and other financial information.

Then, after a period of time, we’ll start the process over again. We’ll evaluate how the plan is working, we’ll discuss changes and educate our clients as to why these changes make sense and then, we’ll execute those changes. As mentioned previously, this will be an ongoing process for what we hope will be a lengthy, mutually rewarding relationship.
